we have visited this site alot in the past couple of years. it is a friendly welcoming site with everything you need. the toilet and shower blocks are spotless although the showers could do with updating (more powerfull). but the family bathrooms are fantastic when you have young children. all in all a great place to visit with a bar on site, a shop and food available for more stress free tea times. if i have to choose some negatives about this site it would be that it can get very busy in peak season so if you are wanting a more relaxed time this would not be our first choice. the t.v reception is poor but should be better in 2012 and although there are security cameras alot of the public come and go so not 100% safe and secure.

Myself and my family visited this site for a 10 day visit with our tourer, we found the park it self to be beautifully maintained with always someone somewhere working on tidying up the grassed or shrubbed area`s. Toilet facilities very clean and the added bonus of bath`s which our two young boys enjoyed.
The bar area was excellent for meals and the odd tipple while the location of the soft play allowed you to relax while still being able you keep an eye on the kids.
All staff around the park were extermely friendly and helpful and would take time to speak to you or answer any queries you may have from places to visit or even on the types of flowers and shrubs in the gardens.
Overall a 5 star service from a deserving 5 star park and would gladly recommend this site to anyone considering a break in the area.

We are a family with a 4 year old daughter, we've just returned from a very enjoyable weekend at Ord House. It was our first experienc e of camping and we picked a good site to try it out. The site is very clean and tidy, the toilet blocks are very clean with plenty of hot water and the staff are very helpful. Our pitch was right next to the playground, great during the day but difficult to get my daughter to sleep before 10pm! These this happen though. A five star campsite and well recommended.

Been to many campsites around the u.k (including caravan & camping club sites)this has got to be the cleanest & most respected campsite i have ever camped at.

The toilet block is exceptionally clean, clean enough to eat out of! The WHOLE site trimmed to perfection. from the grass to the trees & shrubs.

recycling facitlities onsite too.

Staff are very helpful with information on places to go & how to get there.

not one complaint.

100% reccomended!!

a family with children, an owner
My family and I started going to Ord in 2003 with an old tourer, we found the park to be very clean, with curteous friendly staff and are still there to date, having upgraded to a static van. Ord House is a family friendly site, the owners (Billy & Julie) are very nice as are the staff. the park is well kept and certainly deserves all of its awards, the washrooms are always kept spotless(thanks Viv), the clubhouse is fab (we frequent it regularly) and we have made many friends some of whom will be lifelong friends.
All in all a child friendly welcoming park well worth a visit or longer stay. I give this park a 5* rating but would like to give it 10.

Having visited Ord House on many occasions. The standards have always been superb, staff are very welcoming and friendly. pitches fully serviced with 16 amps and spacious and within easy reach of the facilities. The toilet facilities are spotless, warm and cater for all our requirements. Club serves great great meals and is very comfotable and friendly. All in all our stays at Ord have been excellent and we have met some wonderful people and would reccommend highly to anyone touring in the area.

A great welcome to a park of fine standing. Wishing all the best to the new owner and staff who must keep up the best tradition of the park to return again as we have for the last 15 years....

all the best!
