An attractive, well-wooded site with a pleasant openness nonetheless, and within easy walking distance of an interesting, lively little market town. Moreton-in-Marsh whose main street is part of the Roman Fosse Way, nestles in the heart of beautiful Cotswold countryside. This attractive town with many interesting shops, is perhaps today most famous for the Tuesday street market. That, together with over twenty pubs, restaurants and cafes may be reached on foot from the site. Family recreation facilities on site include crazy golf, 5-a-side football, volleyball, boules and an adventure climbing frame.

Fantastic site, all expected amenities catered for. All the local Cotswolds attractions within easy reach, either by train or car. Really good electrical shop located in the arcade in Moreton - sorted me out with bulbs, a digibox and cabling!

When reviewing this site and adding a star rating it's useful to start with whats missing. You quickly realise nothing is and it can only be 5*. Great staff, great toilet and shower blocks, great pitches, ample room, secure, 5 mins from a lovely village, loads of hardstandings with tv points and electric. Water and waste nearby.. recycling facilities.... the lot. I'm not sure you can ask for anymore this really is the perfect site and should be used as a benchmark for all those other sites who don't quite make the grade. Thanks to all at Moreton you do a stunning job. 10 out of 10 (from a person who works in the service industry and is normally frustrated and dismayed by the service offered to caravaners at sites and when storing, insuring etc)

Set in the lovely Cotswolds area of central UK. Another top Caravan Club site with pitches set in wooded enclosures. Well thought out layout for the park, makes it feel open and uncrowded even when it's full - as it often is.

Good play park for the children. Games and activities for family enjoyment.

Lots to see and do in the area. Not far to attractive towns like Evesham, Stratford on Avon and Cheltenham.

Practical Caravan Top 100 Parks Award 2008

Set within walking distance of the market town of Moreton-in-Marsh, this site is a good base for exploring the picturesque villages of the Cotswolds. A little further afield are Stratford-upon-Avon and Cheltenham. However, with an on-site play area, recreation field, games room, crazy golf and volleyball, the family will be as busy on site as off. This club site has the usual high-standard amenities, and you can choose between grass and hardstanding pitches with electric hook-up.

Practical Motorhome independent site reviews Feb 2007

This Caravan Club site is less than ten minutes’ walk from the charming old town of Moreton in Marsh, where there is a good supermarket and a choice of pubs and restaurants. On Tuesdays, Moreton hosts a hugely popular street market. Bus and rail services from the town allow access to Oxford and the surrounding countryside.
The site is laid out with marked pitches, separated by grass and interspersed with trees which lend an open, woodland feel to the site. Almost all pitches are hardstanding and wide enough to accommodate a ‘van and awning (they are also deep enough to accommodate a parked car).
You are free to choose your own pitch, but those alongside the public road edge of the site suffer from traffic noise.
The toilet/shower facilities
are clean, modern and heated. We particularly liked the provision of individual washing cubicles with lit mirrors. Another nice feature is the adaptation of some standard cubicles with rails and hand-holds for disabled use. Each of the facility buildings has a well-equipped toilet and shower for use by the disabled and the door is operated by a ‘radar key’ and a normal lock (the ‘radar’ scheme means one key fits all). For families with toddlers there is a separate bathroom area with scaled-down toilet and bath.

Practical Motorhome Independent Site Reviews.

Just off the A44 Bourton Road, this well-kept site is about a ten-minute, level walk from the lovely Cotswold town of Moreton-in-Marsh. The town boasts several excellent tea and coffee shops, traditional pubs offering superb cuisine and an interesting mix of shops selling antiques, art and clothes.
A lazy morning can be spent browsing, punctuated by frequent stops for tasty food and drinks. A small but informative Aviation museum is only a few minutes walk from the site and a Falconry centre is a short drive away.
Typical of Caravan Club layouts, it has a functional yet pleasant appearance with wider than average tarmac roads. Touring units are sited in two main areas, each with their own wash/laundry building, which include facilities for disabled users. One area has a baby bathroom, making life easier for those with young families. Both blocks are spotlessly clean, with indoor food preparation and dish-washing areas.
There are several pitches that are longer than average to cater for large motorhomes. These are situated near the main entrance, ensuring that they have clear access to the exit and are within easy reach of the motorhome service point.
Although close to the town, views from the site are leafy and rural. A dedicated dog exercise area and children’s play area are situated slightly behind and away from the main site but well away from the busy main road. Several recreational facilities are provided to keep both young and old amused, including a petanque pitch, mini-golf, a climbing frame, volley-ball court and five-a-side football area.
The site is well situated for touring the Cotswold area. ‘Shakespeare country’ and the regency town of Cheltenham are both within easy reach. One disadvantage of this site is the traffic noise which can be heard from the busy main road, although it does have the advantage of easy access because of its position.
