This is a 14 acre landscaped caravan and camping site with a new development of 26 log chalets surrounding a large lake catering for windsurfing, sailing, canoeing and fishing. The log chalets are built from kiln dried Scandinavian timber and designed and built to create the highest quality log chalets available.
This park is easy to find and on first impressions looked lovely but we were soon disappointed. The customer care was appauling or should we say lack of it,after being double booked pitched twice, we got most of our information from people that permanant pitched there they too said that there were new managers and it wasn't the same as last year many people had moved off site. The site shop no longer exist and the reception and bar area is open on a as and when basis, there is a telephone number you can ring if you require anything, people for example needed shower tokens and waited for the bar to open at 8 when it didn't open we telephoned and asked them when they were opening, there reply was "we've decided not to open tonight and if people needed shower tokens they should have got them during the day" this was in the first week of the 6 weeks summer holidays peak season. They have a lake where you can hire a canoe for £5 per hour laundry and toilet facilites that a key has to be purchased a tokens bought, we was shocked that this was a 4 star park as we felt it didn't offer 4 star facilities..
