My husband, dog and i have just returned after a very peaceful weekend at this lovely, friendly, clean and well thought out site. Would def. go again. Next time swap the dog for our grand daugther. She would love the play area.
Thank you very much for your lovely comments and you are very welcome to bring dog and grand daughter next time. All are welcome and hope to see you soon
lovely park for family holidays or couples as children's playground is safe, but adjoining main park, not amongst tents and caravans. Also they ask for quiet after 11pm, and try hard to maintain this. Excellent facilities, very warm and clean.
Friendly staff.

Practical Caravan Great Escapes recommended park Oct 2006
This is a quiet and sheltered site, not far from the hustle and bustle of Ashford. Broadhembury has a children’s play area. a sports field and a games room. Guests staying without youngsters can opt to stay in the adults-only area.
It is surrounded by mature trees that provide shade and shelter from the wind, but the grass pitches can become soggy when it rains. Fully serviced gravel hardstandings have 16A hook-up, water, drainage and a picnic table. The grass and hedges are well maintained as are the facilities. The spacious, new washblock has under-floor heating and a family washroom.
The site is a short drive along A-roads from the M20.

This site is great for a stop-over on the way to or from France, or for a longer stay to explore the Garden of England. It’s has a really friendly atmosphere and has just the right combination of liveliness during the day and tranquility at night. It recently received five stars from the English Tourist Board, and is popular with visitors from both the UK and abroad, which gives it an almost Continental atmosphere. It is close to the town of Ashford and the Eurostar terminal, and it is easily found from Junction 10 of the M20. The entrance has a code-operated barrier, which provides security and peace of mind.
This site is ideal for a variety of activities and you can even visit Paris for a day trip via the Eurostar terminal at Ashford International Station. A short drive away is Canterbury and its historic cathedral, and visitors fancying some bargain shopping can nip into the designer outlet shop near the centre of Ashford. For culture vultures, Leeds Castle is a short drive away. But you could just as easily be entertained by exploring the surrounding area, which is rich in country walks.

The pitching areas in this three-acre site are separated by Leylandii trees creating an attractive, private setting, with 60 large grass pitches. The majority of these have 16A hook-ups, and all of them are flat.
With Ashford International Station just minutes away, Broadhembury could form a base camp for some impromptu cross-Channel shopping. Don’t worry if you have forgotten your passport as you can also visit Sissinghurst and Scotney Castles, Biddenden Cider Factory and the East Sussex and Kent Steam Railway. The cathedral city of Canterbury is also within easy reach. Shopaholics may also want to take advantage of cut-price designer fashions at the nearby factory outlet village in Ashford. There’s also the chance to indulge in fishing, walking, horseriding and ten-pin bowling.
But those who stay on site will have more than enough to keep them busy. Under-sevens will love the well-equipped play area. And children of all ages can use the large sports field. There’s also a games room with table tennis, pool tables and arcade games, and a spacious TV lounge.
Broadhembury’s emphasis is on quiet relaxation and there is no on-site bar or restaurant. The nearest pub is just one mile away, however. The site has a code-controlled entry gate and a CCTV system in place. It is also in the process of upgrading the heated washing facilities to include family rooms and showers. Vegetable preparation and dishwashing are in a conservatory, which also contains a fridge, freezer and microwave oven.
