Being just 3 miles from Blackpool’s Golden Mile, Marton Mere is a surprisingly green and tranquil setting.
Think ‘Springwatch’. At this Holiday Park there’s a Nature Reserve and Park Ranger Station to help you discover the wonders of nature. Yet it’s also a lively Park, with exciting action around the central facilities like the Space Bowl Flume, SplashZone and Adventure Golf.
Feel free to fill each day in just your own way. Every family is different of course, but a typical day at this Holiday Park might begin with a lazy lie in or a family B Fit session. It could be a morning in the new SplashZone with Space Bowl & Flume or Coke FC Football Coaching.
Lunch out at a great little pub or pop into our Café Bar & Grill with Terrace. Afternoon try a game of Adventure Golf, explore Blackpool or savour the tranquil surroundings of the nature reserve.
Early evening enjoy a stroll on the beach, a sunset bike ride or a barbecue. Then head off to the ShowBar for a drink, live music and dancing.
So, whether it's out and about or staying on the Caravan Park, you're sure to have a great holiday at Marton Mere.

Quite a nice site with excellent facilities and very good value for money £38 for 3 nights in our tourer. The toilets are immaculate, the foodbar and entertainment are very good and aimed at the young as you would expect. Would probably go back
We arrived in the late afternoon, allocated our premier pitch, which was nothing to write home about. We were hoping to put up our awning but the pitches are so close together we had no chance. Some of the pitches had been closed because of blocked drains and flooding. If you want a good holiday don't go... try somewhere else.
after my second visit i have to say the standard of the park had gone down hill . The premier pitches were nothing to write home about, 3 had been closed because of blocked drains, 2 had there electric/water knocked over so out of action. the rest were mud patches were the grass had been killed off probably from not using breathable ground sheets. The showers were clean but you had to keep one hand on the button to keep the water running, one tiolet was closed during the time we were there so you had to wait. I again found the touring booking office closed and you have to find a pitch and report to main reception. i am pleased to say we didnt take a awning as we would have not had the space to put it up as space is short between pitches. a disapoitment all in all .

We booked 2 nights here through the haven site, found it to be a nice park on arrival we had a good premier pitch next to the wildlife reserve which was nice, facilities were to the usual haven standard and i had no problem with.
My only gripe is lack of security on site as gangs of youths were seen in early hours of morning and our cycles were attempted to be stolen which were chained to ur caravan, luckily they were disturbed. sadly this put me off going again.
OK site but make sure you lock up your valubles!!!

A very disappointing experience! The glossy brochure made the site seem wonderful, the reality was somewhat different. Very poor cramped pitches which at time of visit, July 08, were a muddy, virtually unusable mess. Toilet facilities were old, dirty and poorly maintained. The bar and restaurant are overpriced. A site I will most definatley not be returning to and enough to put me off using Haven again.
