I have used this site on many occasions and have found it a perfect site for touring the east coast but have found the campsite standards have fallen dramatically especially this year.
On the last visit there was one shower out of order, the next had a choked drain, the next did not have a bracket for the shower head and the water was constantly going on and off and hot and cold in both the ladies and gents showers.
if the cleaner looked behind the doors they would find a lot of filth gathered and the drains full of hair.
future visits did'nt find any improvement I am afraid.
The new toilet block at the tourer end is half open when they feel like it, you walk all the way there to find its sometimes locked for no apparent reason, annoying.
This is a pity as the site is excellent other ways.
PLEASE buck up your ideas before the dirty facilities chase us away

We have stayed here often both for weekends and longer breaks. The location cant be beaten, the views across the forth and over the town of north berwick are great. Toilets could be better but they are clean, site has shop, games room and putting green. Good swing park for the kids and easy access to great beaches. love it !!

I've read the other review on this site and think it is very severe. Our family based our caravan on this site this season as it's only 45 mins from home and we're new to caravanning this year. The site is so relaxing, the other guests we have met have been really friendly, the scenery is great, and I would have no hesitaion in recommending it. It was slightly less enjoyable when very busy for about three weeks, but mainly caused by
people not respecting the pitch boundaries. The people running the site are friendly but firm on the rules generally. We have witnessed many young families having a great time on this site over the season.
