the first time i visited was 2 weeks prior to this in the 6 weeks holiday and it was very busy and the toilets where disgusting clumps of hair in the drains which made the showers overflow and it was still there days after toilets where dirty aswell not good ,the service in the bar left a lot to be desired and the chef left so there was no food been served which i found strange during the busy season kids played footy on the field till 12 at night on the field in the middle and 2 caravans behind up partied till four in the morning i didnt complain as i thought well they are on holiday and it did say that the site was patrolled so i wondered where these people were ,i returned 2 weeks later for a reunion as my parents had a static on the site for years and a few of us where meeting up ,we talked and had a drink on the first night and basically did the same the 2nd night for a bloke to come out of the office at quarter to 9 and said he had had a complaint about the noise to which we all responded what noise we where then all surprised when the police turned up i couldnt believe it it was only early and as far as i am aware there is a no noise after 11 policy not quarter to nine anyway the nxt day we went i tried to book again this year and they told me i wasnt welcome due that incident i couldnt believe it i hadnt done anything ,but if thats the way they want to treat people i wouldnt waste my money staying on there site anyway !!

Well I was pleasantly suprised after reading previous reviews that this lovely park was the best holiday the kids have had this year.
They never came out of the pool till closing time. The showers/ toilets have been refurbished and where spotlessley clean everyday. The Staff where brill, greeted us with a smile Well reccomend this park.

Well this site over the past years since 2006 has gone down hill this is because it is no longer a family owned site the Haven group have it now and they have spent some money on the pool and a separate amusement block but they have a staff problem the restaurant looks good but peak time and no chef and the toilets are not cleaned every day. I have now found out that it is now owned by Meadowhead we are going in august in 2010 to give it one last chance they also have gained a four star rating it was three so we shall see if it is views then it can not be better the static caravans are all new and are very well looked after shame the touring side is not

visited this site on the 10th July 2008. The location is great for the surrounding area of Bamburgh etc. The site itself has all the facilities you would expect. The shop had a great selection of items. The negative aspects were that the toilets and drains smelled of sewage, they were not cleaned often enough in my opinion. The bar area was nice although the food menu was very basic and prepared by the stand in barman as "the chef had left, but the barman used to be a chef!". I can't comment on the food quality as the kitchen was closed for no apparent reason the night we tried to eat there. All in all....dissapointing after previously visiting their sister site Mortonhall.

Practical Caravan Top 100 parks Award 2007

With all the facilities on offer at Waren Park, there is hardly any need to leave the site for entertainment. There is an outdoor heated swimming pool, a games room, bar and even internet access on site. More practical facilities include
a small grocery shop and restaurant. The pitches are spacious, but not particularly private as there is a shortage
of shrubs and trees. The site does, however, have marvellous views over golden beaches across the sea to Holy Island. There are also spacious grounds in which to walk and plenty to explore in the surrounding area.
A trip to nearby Bamburgh is
a must. The castle is open to the public and there are tea rooms and pubs in the pretty town. You can get great fish and chips at the seaside town of Seahouses and the beautiful village of Craster is famed for its kippers.
A nature reserve at Budle Bay will entertain young and old alike, and Farne Island is a big attraction for birdwatchers.

Practical Caravan Great Escapes recommended park Dec 2006

This site has an intimate feel although it has over 250 pitches for tourers. Seasonal pitches are popular and the remaining touring pitches get booked up very quickly during the high season. It is within walking distance of the beautiful Budle Bay and the coastal walks. Enquiries can be made over the telephone but the site requires confirmation of your booking in writing, along with payment, sent prior to your arrival.
