On the shores of the famous Loch Lomond, Cashel has fantastic views of the loch and the surrounding Queen Elizabeth Forest Park. Campers can launch their boats directly from the site and explore the loch's many small islands, many of which are privately owned. Ben Lomond, a Munro of 3192ft, is four miles away and there are other footpaths in and around the site, with the West Highland Way passing the entrance. There are two pubs approximately four miles away, both serving good food and there is a shop on the site incorporating a coffee shop. Dogs are welcome and there are toilet and shower blocks, as well as some pitches with electric hook-up.

Went to this park for easter weekend. We arrived friday and set up- Friday evening electricity went out- Manager blamed an old tourer, saturday night electric went out again. People went to complain again. This time it was a fault on the site.
An electrician came out on Sunday, my partner approached him to see if he found the fault. Electrician stated he did not know what the fault was and he could not get hold of his boss because his boss was away in Dunoon. Some tourers went off on the Sunday and the electric was ok on the Sunday night. Manager was not very helpful and quite abrupt.
This is a beautiful park with lovely views but not a park that we would go back to.
