this is the most helpfull and careing park we have been on the owners and staff were wonderfull and so helpfull to me when my husband was taken ill and had to be admitted to hospital in fort william I can not praise them enough as for the caravan park it is so clean and tidy and well kept it is a pleasure to be there.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments. I hope everyone is well and that you will visit us again in the future.
Kind regards
We spent 2 nights at this site 24/25 June 2009.
The views are fantastic and we were pitched looking out over the Loch.
The owner was a very pleasant man and the site was run with a very relaxed and laid back approach which we found very refreshing after having been to two sites already and had lists of rules and regulations thrust at us.
The facilities were very clean and of good standard.
Plenty of sinks for washing up. Although the site was fairly busy it was at all times a very peaceful place.
Plenty of good walks nearby and the massacre monument was well worth walk.
Would have loved to stay longer but we were already booked at other sites.
Invercoe Caravan & Camping Park, Highlands, Scotland
We have just had a weeks holiday staying at Invercoe - the facilities are excellent and the scenery around the park was breath taking. We were lucky to be given a pitch with a clear view of the Loch. Every day the outlook was different depending on the weather. The onsite facilities were excellent including full laundrette services and a covered picnic area. Everything in and around the park is kept to a very high standard. There is also a great play park that our daughter used all the time and made new friends. The owner gives 100% and much more, always stopping for a chat and gives advice if needed and recommendations on places to visit. This park is a great central point for taking day trips to surrounding areas such as the Isle of Skye, Mull, Aviemore, Fort William, Oban, etc.

Practical Motorhome Independent Site Reviews.
This caravan park is in the village of Invercoe, beside Glencoe village, on the very edge of Loch Leven. Easy approach roads lead to the low-walled site and its one-way system for entry to, and exit from, the park.
The first impression visitors receive is of the spectacular scenery and views available from the site in almost all directions. This long-established caravanning and camping park is surrounded by beautiful scenery, and has grassy, level pitches and many hardstanding areas, all provided with mains electric hook-up.
There is a small licensed shop on site which offers a range of groceries, some essentials and gas bottle exchange, and the well appointed launderette also houses a stack of tourist information leaflets. The park contains a children's play area, which has swings and a climbing frame, as well as a deep layer of bark chippings to provide a soft landing, if necessary.
The loch shore provides opportunities for families to go beachcombing or fishing for sea trout. The surrounding area is great cycling country, and there are off-road tracks and pathways in the nearby forestry areas.
Glencoe is an area of great natural beauty with many different low-level walks, such as the walk to Signal Rock where, in 1692, the signal to attack was given for the notorious massacre of the MacDonalds of Glencoe. Climbers and hill-walkers will be in their element with Ben Nevis and so many 'Munro' climbs nearby. Boat hire, pony trekking and riding are all within easy reach, and coastal cruises and coach tours are available, too. Other things to see and do around this fabulous area include mountain biking, skiing, sailing and, of course, distillery visits.
This is a beautifully-situated, family-run park which not only enjoys superb views of the sea loch and the surrounding mountains, but is also well situated for a range of outdoor activities in the nearby area.

If it’s peace and quiet you want, head to Invercoe Caravan and Camping Park. Situated beside Loch Leven and surrounded by mountains and forests, it’s the perfect site in which to get away from it all.
Lovers of Scottish history and hillside rambling, then, are in their element in Glencoe. The small town’s folk museum can help you learn about life in bygone days, while you can also visit the peaceful Hidden Valley, where rustlers once used to hide their spoils. For the more active there is boating, climbing and pony trekking, while the keen fisher is never disappointed, at least by the opportunities to cast off, if not in their own catch.
The park has been run by Iain and Lynn Brown for more than 30 years, and they are always finding ways of improving what is already a splendid site. It makes the most of its setting, with some lochside pitches among the 55 in total, although those with electrical hook-ups (10A) do tend to be at the rear, away from the water.
The park’s location at the water’s edge calls for some safety rules, but the owners use these out of necessity so as to ensure that their guests can feel free and enjoy their stay. A stylishly refurbished toilet block is heated in the colder months, and there are also covered dishwashing facilities and a laundry room with space for drying. Dogs are welcome at Invercoe, but they must be excercised off-site.
