Beautiful sea-shore location with breathtaking views of the Islands and set conveniently near Oban, heart of Scotland's trade and travel routes to her Isles, make this 30 acre Parke an ideal base to relax, watch the sunsets, enjoy water-sports or explore local gardens and spectacular scenery of the West Coast.
lovely veiws help full wardens had to wait 25 mins to be escorted to our pitch not what i would call 5 star i like to pick my own pitch .vans to close together. owner rude i had forgotten my club card she made me feel like a child .and had to pay 25p to call the caravan club
A truly immaculate site with all the facilities you could wish for, well stocked shop, on a local bus route, loads to see and do in the area. Toilets were superb and the views to die for. Well groomed with a good, sound ecological view and approach to the running of the park. Play areas for the kids, beach for walks and a slipway to launch boats from. A very, very comprehensive park. However, we felt a little herded, sheperded into long rows of vans, escorted to the pitch which was chosen for us with little or no room for compramise and discussion. It was all a little impersonal and regimental.
North Ledaig Caravan Park Caravan Club Site, Oban, Scotland
Definetely a 5 star site. Once again The Caravan Club is setting the standard. Very well run and clean site. Owners extremely helpful and knowlegable about the area. Once you have chosen a pitch the warden escorts you on to it. The toilet facilities are immaculate and the showers always hot. The on site shop is well stocked with gas and essentials. It was nice to see seperate bins for coloured glass and papers. Enviromentally friendly. Great base for touring the area and the weather during our stay in the third week in April was perfect. This site also boasts views to die for with each pitch facing the sea over to the Isle of Mull. We will definitely return.
If you want a site with stupendous views, top notch clean facilities, friendly staff who go out of their way to offer the personal touch - North Ledaig is for you. Set on the shores of Ardmucknish Bay it is a paradise for nature lovers, dog owners, sailors, walkers etc etc. Spotless facilities, well stocked shop, and exceptional staff who offered a warm welcome. And that view....
Lots to do round and about, and not far from Oban. We loved it, the kids loved it- I think we'll be back!

Practical Caravan Top 100 Parks 2007
To reach this beautiful site you’ll need to put in a little bit of effort, given its failrly remote, westerly location, but we reckon it’s more than worth it. North Ledaig is situated 100 miles from Glasgow on the shores of Ardmucknish Bay,
and the magnificent views across the water to the spectacular hills beyond make
it a difficult site to beat.
It is split into three fields: one provides around 100 pitches exclusively for Caravan Club members, while the other two fields are for use by non-members, although Club members are also free to pitch here if they choose. Everyone enjoys the same fantastic view of the bay, and the sunsets over the water are stunning. The sea air may be bracing but the welcome is always warm. On arrival, a warden will show you to your allocated pitch and will readily offer assistance in unhitching and siting caravans. Happily, many of the pitches are ‘drive on/drive off’, and the site’s superbly smooth roads are an added bonus. The whole site, in fact, is very well maintained.
North Ledaig’s shores run directly down to the bay, so it’s not surprising that boating from the site is very popular. There’s a private slipway, and moorings are available for caravanners’ boats. TV reception is very good and there is an excellent dog walk on site, too. You’ll be blissfully unaware of any traffic at this site: the most noise you’ll experience will be the gentle lapping of the sea on the pebble shores.

l 6.7 miles to Oban (left), one of Scotland’s most visited west coast towns. From here you can take the coastal walk around the bay or cross to little Kerrera Island by ferry (from Gallanach).
