Review from campsite uk : July 2011

Stayed here for 2 nights. Location is fantastic, great sea views, and an easy 15-20 minute walk into Sherringham.

They had a problem with the boiler while we were there, there was some hot water to the Ladies showers, but none at all to the Mens! I think this seems to be a bit of an ongoing problem.

Apart from that though, the toilets and showers were always clean, and considering the site was full, very few people in them! Never had to queue once.

The pitches are super sized and we had plenty of room. The site is generally quiet at night

Apart from that, we would return again to this site solely for its location.

After researching sites for a bank holiday weekend break for a two man tent in norfolk we found that Beeston Regis camping was the only site available. Fair enough we were placed in an overflow 'field' at £28 a night which as a first time camper I didnt realise how expensive that was for what we were actually getting! On arrival we were pitched on an 'overflow' bit of grass facing a hedge next to the entrance of the site with the towing caravans and tents in front of us. We were overjoyed at our 'all pitches get a sea view' but not only that the graveyard was 15 meters away from our pitch. With all due respect we didn't let this get us down too much until we saw the state of the toilet and showering facilties of which my boyfriend advised me that on a camping trip to cornwall he paid ten pounds a night and their facilties were amazing compared to this. Nevertheless we took advantage of the stunning scenery and local villages and spent most of the time away from the campsite. However on the last visit to the showering blocks I witnessed the warden using the same mop to clean with (dirty water may I add) the floors, then the sinks areas and then the toilet seats! I was disgusted and safely to say I will not be returning to this campsite especially not for 28 pounds a night!

a couple, a holidaymaker

We were visiting our friends who have a caravan on the park so we thought we'd have a look at what was for sale as we'd been looking for a caravan for a while. Didn.t realise that it was owned by the same company as an other park we'd seen until we saw the brochure. We had a quick chat with a young gentle man in the office, very friendly. But the rest of the staff didnt seem to have the time to talk to us, the park was mostly well presented and the view from the cliff was stunning, all the homes were in lines so we decided it deffinatly wasn't for us,
