Millfield Holiday Village is well located fronting Mill Road in Portstewart only a short walk away from the promenade. This modern Park has first class fully service static pitches with concrete hard standings and 20-amp electricity supply.
In addition, all the holiday homes are furnished with timber surrounds and brick-built steps insuring a tidy appearance. The Park takes in the highest piece of land in Portstewart offering spectacular views from the top.
Touring and camper vans are well catered for on level drained pitches with electric hook-ups.
Facilities on the park include reception office, public phone, laundry, toilet, showers and enclosed safe children’s adventure playground. The promenade, beach, local shops and restaurants are all nearby.
Spent 2 nights at this site which was 2 nights too long. The touring area is disappointing, overlooked on 3 sides by apartments / private houses. Toilet facilities left a lot to be desired, only 1 shower in both ladies and gents, totally rundown and not clean. Toilet block had not been cleaned in 3 days. Will NEVER return to this site. For the same price I could have stayed in a very quiet and spotless site a few miles away.
This site is very poor, when we arrived there was only 5 amp electric which kept tripping until we got an extension lead that had to go right across the field, to be honest it was as if we were in a motorhome pitch and very cramped together, the sluice facilities for emptying cassette toilet was very poor and we had to lift it up high to the tap to clean it, I would not recommend this site to anyone
Spent 1 weekend at this site. Small quiet site mainly for static caravans. The touring area is disappointing, overlooked on 3 sides by apartments / private houses. Small children's play area which is secure was enjoyed by the little ones. Toilet facilities left a lot to be desired, only 1 shower in both ladies and gents and generally rundown and not very clean. Not a site I will be rushing back to.
