A friendly little site about fifteen miles north of Montrose. Ideal for touring the surrounding area. Highlights being the little fishing town of Stonehaven, Catterline with its pretty harbour and the rugged Dunnotter Castle. The site is well maintained .The shower blocks are dated but clean and welcoming. There is a tennis court, five and eleven a side football pitches and a bowling green. So there is something for everyone. Also good local walks to neighbouring villages. Johnshaven is a pretty village which makes a living from the sea. It has two friendly pubs and a post office come grocery store which is well stocked and the nearby town of Iverbervie has a bank a co-op and the best chippie I,ve sampled in years.
