Its proximity to Cambridge makes it a delightful base to explore the historic City and surrounding market towns of Ely, St Ives and Huntingdon or further afield to London which is under an hour away by train.
If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful site, then this one is definitely worthy of consideration.
On arrival, on the Friday night, we were warmly greeted and taken to our pitch. The site was very well maintained with close cut grass, small fruit trees, and the perimeter was surrounded by larger trees and hedging.
A modern toilet/shower block was kept very clean by both staff and visitors.
Both before and on arrival, we were aware that it was a tourist park, so we were prepared to look locally for eateries. Within a couple of miles either way from the site, there were two villages, one containing an excellent take away and pubs, and the other contained various places to eat. A site that we would definitely visit again.
