a family with children, a tourer/motorhomer

First impressions of site are good - well maintained grounds. But when you get to the facilities for tourers they are shocking. There are two showers that you can hardly turn around in let alone take you and your children into. The lights dont come on till its dark so as soon as you shut the door your in darkness. The toilet area is stuck in a time warp which is fine if they were kept clean but they arent.

All in all i would not recommend this site.

Practical Caravan Great Escapes recommended park Dec 2006

This site has a fabulous view of Bamburgh Castle, which is a pleasant walk away, as are award-winning beaches. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is a great base for trips to the Farne Islands, Holy Island and the coastal route. The grass pitches on this friendly and informal site are spacious and well kept.
