However, you are only a short drive away from many of the local attractions in north Devon. You can choose from a range of grass or hardstanding pitches, all of which have electric hook-up and TV aerial points. Alongside washroom and laundry facilities, there is a shop and a café, where you can book for
a tasty Sunday lunch. Great for a quiet stay in north Devon.

This wonderful site, with it’s Kingfisher Meadow and Top Park, really is in a hidden valley. It is very quiet, with just a modicum of traffic noise.
The main attraction of this site is that if you don’t want to go out and about in the hustle and bustle of the local towns you don’t have to. The campsite shop stocks most of the necessities of life, and along with the coffee shop and Barnyard bar, most needs are catered for.
The manager and warden are very welcoming, and finding your way round the site is helped by the map provided when checking in.
The play parks for the children are ideal as they can tire themselves out while you can rest assured that they are well away from the busy main roads.
For those who like to explore, there is the famous Tarka Trail
to cycle, and lots of walks including a nature trail and woodland walk just off site.
And to the East, is Exmoor National Park with its wild landscape and stunning scenery.

This site nestles in a lovely setting between Barnstaple and Ilfracombe. And it’s aptly named – the walls of the surrounding valley are thick with trees that keep it secluded from the outside world.

There are 134 level pitches. All of these have 16A electrical hook-up, TV connections and varying amounts of shelter, while four super-pitches have direct fresh water and waste-water disposal. The upper field pitches are all hardstanding and those in the lower field are on grass.

There are two modern toilet blocks on site, one of which is heated. Both are clean and have a non-slip floor. Along with washbasins and showers, these provide baby-changing, a laundry, dishwashing and facilities for the disabled. Ensuite showers with toilets are also available.

Hidden Valley may be secluded but there is plenty to do. A large bar provides entertainment in the evening and the shop/off-licence allows you carry on the festivities back at your pitch. A games room and two playgrounds with safe bark surfaces are provided for children. Fishing, golf, bicycle hire and horseriding are also within easy reach of the site.

Countless small villages surround the site and the beach is just a short drive away. Should you want to take the family pooch with you, Hidden Valley is dog friendly and should you want to bring more than two you simply have to call in advance.
