This is a very well run, clean and friendly site. The site is very relaxing and the faciliities ate great. The stream running through the site is great for the kids to paddle in and play on 'tarzies'. the park is also great for the kids with a full size table tennis table, and basketball net.

Excellent peaceful site with well maintained
modern clean facilities (cleaned between 11am and 1pm)
the levelled tourer pitches with paved area to one side made siting our motorhome very easy
The stream/river passing through kept the kids entertained (and wet !) The whole site is very sheltered and tranquil and we would definitely revisist

Booked this site in early feb giving size of tent. On arriving sent to a pitch which was too small sloping from right to left and sloping back. Offered another pitch which was slightly bigger but would have to pay an extra £10.50 a night so we came home disappointed will not book any flower of may campsites again.

we are a family with two young children, who wanted the tranquility and picturesque setting that rosedale park appeared to offer. However, the site itself was tidy and ample but could do with markings for your tents to avoid having to move 3 times like we were asked to do, despite being told we were ok after the first time. The footpath to the shower block could do with concreting to avoid trampling mud into the slippy and dirty shower and toilet area. The showers were cleaned at 7 am which is the most inconvenient time as most people are getting up and want to use the facilities. At peak times the showers are inconsistant in temperature and pressure with most people experiencing a trickle in which to wash in. There were two sinks for washing up pots in which considering the size of the park was exceptionally inadequate!!!
The drinking water on the site was so overly chemicalized that it not only tasted bad despite boiling, but the smell lingered on everything!!!
I would advise anyone looking for a relaxing, CLEAN break from home to use another site.

We have visited this site a number of times, but not for the last couple of years, and will not do so again until things are changed. We were a large family party camping in the first field. The toilet/washing facilities have been moved an area next to the childrens slide. We went camping in August, so obviously it had been raining in previous weeks, but for the last week it had been fine, however the site was still a little damp, but this wasn't a problem. However the toilet facilities, especially the ladies, was. The floor appears to slope down from the showers and into toilets. The drainage for the showers appears to be extremely poor as when somebody had a shower, I saw waves of water sloshing down the slight slope, which meant that the water had no where else to run except into the toilets. This meant that when you went to the toilet you had to remember to roll your trouser legs up, as your feet were sitting in about 3 inches of water. The toilets in the ladies ran out of toilet roll by Sunday morning, but they had been refilled at about 9. Apparently the mens toilets weren't as bad, but their showers were the opposite way round from the ladies, so the water drained into the showers, not the toilets.
With regards to washing up facilities, there were 2 sinks with plenty of hot water. However because there were only 2 sinks this meant that there was a wait and a queue for over an hour to use them at peak times.
The village itself is lovely and prior to changing the toilet block it was a lovely site.
The staff were friendly and pleasant, but when one of our party expressed disappointment at the situation they told us that they are only the wardens and the owner does nothing when they tell him about the problems.
