And recommends it for:
a couple, a tourer/motorhomer

This site has been greatly improved since the only previous on-line review was written. The entrance has been modernised and made easier and there is a security fence around the entire site. I have stayed there a couple of times with my motorcaravan and enjoyed a peaceful stay each time. The pitches are as close to the sea as you could wish for and the shore is south facing so there is plenty of sunshine. The wardens are friendly and helpful and the site charges (2010) were reasonable when compared with other sites in the area.

And recommends it for:
a family with children, a tourer/motorhomer

Booked into Tayview during the day everything seemed ok . Entrance was very dated and of poor apearance things got worse as darkness fell there was about 5 small light along the main road

And that was it, speed ramps very high and easy to trip on because of the lighting. Going to the toilet was a adventure one foot at a time as there was no paths, lights, signs nothing at all. Next day went to the laundry took 30min to find it then we didnt use it. It was dirty small building with one washing machine and one dryer. Next night a gang of locals came through the park causing a nuisence drinking swearing etc. We had to contact the warden and he got them moved on. We packed up the next morning and left. The only good thing to say about the park was how helpful the warden was very nice man {needs a medal for the abuse he took from the local that night}
