Lovely quiet campsite. The facilities were very clean and there is a lovely games room for the kids. We brought our dog and he loved the lovely walk down at the bottom of the site beside the river. The owners were very nice and helpful. We will be going back again soon.

And recommends it for:
a couple, a camper

We were two adults with a tent, every pitch is level, ours was well drained. Front of site hardstandings with grass at side for caravans/campers, back of site grass for tents with views of fields. Lovely little walk by stream on site, spotlessly clean, large hot showers, good lanundry facilites. Only quick 10 minutes walk into town, can sample ale and still walk home!, but site felt like in the middle of countryside. Would reccommend.

A great site in the fabulous town of Skibbereen...a bit of a trek to get to it but is it worth it...oh yes ! The greeting and the assistance from the owners immediately upon arrival and throughout our week long stay has not been matched anywhere.
The showers and toilets are immaculate...wash facilities as good as home....safe and substantial playpark for the children and a football field away from the vans....The Hideaway is a definite 'must visit'.

Pray for good weather though...

Great base to go exploring down toward Mizen Head or towards the West.....Go on...you'll love it !!!
