I went to this site looking for somewhere local to take my son who was feeling a bit under the weather. What a different world. The site was the friendliest i have ever stopped at and the facilities could not be beaten. All the pitches were flat and even. The toilets and showers were spotless (Didn't mind the 50p charge) and the club house was brilliant even if the act didn't turn up. My son soon felt better and made use of everything on offer. Would i got again?? You bet.

I have been visiting this site since 2001. The improvements made over the years are really good. There is a brand new shower/toilet block for this season which is really nice. The staff are always pleasent and its a nice site to stay on. There are loads of places to visit nearby, lots of walks and you can finish it off with a nice drink in the club!

I have just spent a weeks holiday with my 2 grandchildren, both aged 11, and we have had a really good time. My husband joined us at the weekend, and although he only intended staying the one night he stayed on for another night.
The site itself was kept really clean and tidy. Although you had to pay for the showers, 50p, it was worth it, the water was really hot and if you were quick it was long enough to shower and wash your hair. My Grandaughter and I managed to share a shower, and wash, for 50p.
I would recommend the Sunday lunch. Four of us had a roast beef dinner with all the trimmings, two desserts and a couple of bowls of custard, requested by the grandchildren, all for £20, excellent value and it tasted fantastic.
They have a small club house, entertainment on a Saturday during summer.
You can put your icepacks in the freezer, free of charge.
If you enjoy walking there's loads of public footpaths, and the view is breathtaking.
There's plenty to see and do. Although the weather wasn't good I managed to keep the children entertained.

I have used this site several times now over the years as I have relatives in Haworth village and each time I attend I find they have updated/improved something else.

This site in a lovely tranquil location up on the moors. It's right next to a small private airstrip and it's quite comical sometimes watching the West Yorkshire Police Helicopter which seems to use it as a tea stop! It can be a little tricky to get to, especially if you have a larger van to tow but it is manageable and worth it when you get there. Definitely approach from an area called the Flappit if towing, whatever you do DO NOT TRY TO COME THROUGH HAWORTH VILLAGE you'll never make it up the hill.

The site has a small club house with arcade games, a pub, a small shop and an immaculate toilet and laundry block. The pitches are a mixture of hard standing and field but it seems that most of the hardstandings are seasonal pitches and are always full. There's a small play area for smaller children but the site is right next to open moorland with trails for bikes and walking.

It can be a bit windy up on this site and putting a large awning up can be a bit tricky but it's lovely and a great place to stop if exploring the Haworth area. A wee bitty pricey at around £16 per night though.
