we stayed here for 4 nights with the dog in our folding camper, the site is well set out with plenty of room between pitches, clean toilets and showers, river walks just yards away and short drive to towns in each direction.
highly recomend site for a good rest very peaceful and nice people to boot

And recommends it for:
a single person, a holidaymaker

I really enjoyed my 2 nights stay in one of the holiday homes, and found the owner of the site to be very helpful and friendly.

The interior was clean, very spacious, and with all mod-cons - gas fire, gas cooker, running hot & cold water, shower, flushing toilets etc.
I do like to camp occasionally, but it was a nice change to have some luxury, and this was like a home away from home!

It set in an ideal location, with no busy roads passing you by - but it's not too far off the beaten track to try and navigate your way to.

The surrounding scenery is beautiful also, and all in all, this helped make my stay a very pleasent and enjoyable experience.

I will certainly return again if I am visiting the area in the future, and I would definitely recommend Herdwick Croft Caravan Park to other people - couples and families alike.
