Drumshademuir is situated mid-way between Kirriemuir and Glamis. Nestled in the scenic and fertile Strathmore Valley it is seperated from the River Tay and Dundee by the strolling Sidlaw Hills. The park is 4 star graded with a host of amenities to ensure your stay is enjoyable.
Have a stroll through our Woodland Walk area where you can enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding countryside or maybe exercise your dog in an ideal environment.
We have visited this site 3 or 4 times now and had a warm welcome from Pat & Ian who own it on each occasion. Drumshademuir is situated between Glamis Castle - the birthplace of the Queen Mother, and Kirriemuir - the birthplace of James Barrie who wrote Peter Pan. The site itself is immaculate and peaceful. It has a children's play area, putting green, laundry and a small woodland walk area - ideal for walking the dog - and two toilet/shower blocks with plenty hot water. The on-site Tavern is also highly recommended and the high teas are fab, (not so for the waistline though I must admit!!) and they do a take away service too. The local area in Kirriemuir is great if you enjoy walking, the scenery is beautiful and the walks lead to the Grampian Mountains for the more adventurous. All in all a lovely place.
