Situated at the edge of Europe, this tranquil park with 500 metres of waterfront is spectacularly located. It is surrounded on three sides by hills and mountains and faces the Atlantic islands of Valentia and Beginish on the south west. It is described in prestigious travel guides as "one of the best campsites in Ireland"; "one of our best addresses"; "a nature lovers paradise" and much more.

Rarely have we stayed at a site with as much to offer as Mannix Point. The pitches rest on the water’s edge, meaning that the beach is literally just past the bonnet of your ‘van. The sun sets behind the mountains that frame the view from your pitch, making this a simply stunning location.
Mannix Point is also well placed for the town of Cahersiveen. There are two supermarkets just round the corner from the entrance and the town – with its shops, restaurants and lively pubs – is a mere 15-minute walk away.
The site is immaculate with well-tended lawns, a barbecue area and a lounge, in which impromptu traditional music sessions often start. It’s only a 20-minute drive to Port Magee, from where boat trips leave for the wildlife of the Skelligs. With its views, great facilities and most hospitable of hosts, Mortimer Moriarty, you’re sure to enjoy your stay.
