Our family stayed at The Red Lion Holiday Park for a week last summer and from the minute we arrived the staff were very friendly and helpful. The small store was very well stocked and not too expensive, the laundrette was well kept as were the caravan park grounds. Yes some of the vans nearer the road had to contend with passing traffic but we were only 2 rows away from the road/railway line and I am a light sleeper and I never had a single sleepless night? We are actually looking into booking again for 2 weeks this summer.
Great base for touring the area. I would recommend this Holiday Park to anyone!!

Just arrived home from our weekend at this park , First impressions are good as you drive into the park, however when you get into the reception you are not greeted with a warm welcome from the reception staff. We got to our pitch which was fine however i had to pick up dog mess to put my awning up (not a good start). The touring park of the park is nice and quiet but next to main road and railway line but its not that noisey. We decided to use the swimming pool in the morning and you need to pay £4 per adult (same as the public) the pool area is clean and new. The showers are also token operated in the touring area and there was no soap for washing your hands. After paying £41 for two nights a dog and awning i didnt want to pay for a shower or not have any soap to wash my hands. However a holiday is what you make of it !
