this site was not really our cup of tea. There is a sports field at the side of the site which was in constant use and the users of the field had access with their vehicles through the field that you have paid for to site your caravan. So therefor there was constant traffic and footballs being kicked about, over into the campsite. This was our first visit to the site and were very dissappointed with it. The wardens there were friendly and helpful which i suppose made up for the site. The picture that is in the caravan and camping magazine really is not the ideal photograph to use as people should be aware that there is a sports field nearby.JEDBURGH itself is a lovely town and it is easy to get from A to B.

I liked this site. Nice location, although there is a public right of way alongside to a football/rugby park. Very friendly caretakers and kept very clean. Jedburgh is an intersting little town and is a decent base for walks and further touring.

It is NOT quiet it has open access through the caravan site to the football field beside it. You have constantly got people walking through the site to the sport field, constant cars in and out and even at times (like we experienced) mopeds coming into the site going throught o the sports field at 23.30. The site does not have separate disabled toilets so when they are closed for cleaning thats it no toilet to use.

very decent place to use as a base to explore the Borders. We went hillwalking and the surrounding area was breathtaking. In our opinion this area of the Scottish lowlands are the nicest by far. Loads of things to do and a short drive takes you to nice small towns. We didnt stay here long on our 2006 summer holiday but it was a friendly enough place.
