One of the best, nicest and cleanest sites you could hope for, from the staff to the toilets, everything was perfect.
Don't pass it by, stop for a look, then you will come back to sample it.
Its ideal for touring the Borders or a run to see the sites of Edinburgh or visit the Border towns when the local Galas are on, they always make strangers welcome

EXCELLENT site, it is what it states, quiet, a very clean site very warm and helpful staff, clean and warm toilet and shower facilities with separate disabled toilet this was very good. No way can this site be faulted it even has personal touches like soap in the toilets flowers around the washing facilities and in the toilet. The very best I have ever seen and had the pleasure to stay on. Will return when it opens again next year. Excellent

We arrived late at night at this campsite 2 days before we had originally booked ( it's a long story!) to be greeted by a friendly, we were just wondering where you had got to. Our first night was spent on the field, the following morning we were moved to a pitch with electric hook up were we stayed for the next three days. The site is set in beautiful countryside and there is a stream running at the bottom of it which we were warned about immediately. The facilities were lovely and clean, its the first time I have seen the wardens cleaning at night as well. The wardens were very friendly and always had time for a chat or a cheery wave. There is alot to do in the surrounding area and Edinburgh is not very far away, there is also alot of information supplied by the wardens. It might not suit everyone with children as there is no playground but our 4 children didn't seem to mind.
