"A glorious Site on the banks of Loch Lomond"
The village of Luss is a Conservation Village – and our Club Site nearby is one of the most beautiful in the network. You can pitch on the western shore of Loch Lomond, across the water from the Millarochy Bay Club Site.
Complete waste of money! £25.40 for one night camping is ridiculous for a start and then to only supply 2 showers between about 30 pitches worth of tents is silly. The only shop on site provided overpriced items such as water canisters and midge spray. The site is located right next to a very busy loud road and although it claims to have views of the loch these are blocked by a row of trees. If you go to loch don't camp here! The other side of the loch has far better and cheaper camp sites.
Stayed here last year and had a good holiday, the site is very well placed on the banks of the Loch but depending on what time of year you go, at dusk you are confined indoors because of the midges.
The site is well laid out, clean and the staff cheerfull and friendly A good site for couples and families alike. A good dog run is provided.
Would recommend.

This is a small, quiet site for Camping and Caravanning Club members only but it’s one of our favourites from the Club’s network, and a week here is almost worth the membership fee alone (currently £27.50 per year).
There are 45 tourer pitches here plus abundant tent spaces, which makes for a cosy community atmosphere and a colourful mix of camping outfits. All touring pitches are serviced by 16A electrical hook-up, and 29 of these are hardstanding. Many pitches are as good as situated right on the bonny banks of Loch Lomond, and on a summer’s morning there’s nothing better than rising early and wandering down to the water’s edge; at this time of day it feels like your own private lake. Note, however, that there are no boat-launching facilities from this site.
The level of on-site facilities here meets the high standards that we’ve come to expect of the Club, with toilet and shower blocks well maintained, and washing-up sinks and laundry facilities available. There is also a dedicated toilet and shower for disabled campers, as parent-and-child room. There is a play area for ball games and a delightful walk along the shoreline of Loch Lomond into Luss, where cruises of the lake depart from the pier.
The Luss Highland Games take place here on the third Wednesday of July every year. Also not far away, on the banks of the Clyde, is Helensburgh, a Georgian town with many shops, fine buildings, a swimming pool, a promenade and The Hill House, which was built by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. In a nutshell, this is one of the prettiest locations for a caravan park in the whole of Britain.
