"Beautifully located on the shores of Loch Lomond"
Milarrochy Bay is in Scotland’s first National Park, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs. Our Club Site is on the beautiful east shore of Loch Lomond, which you can walk along to discover its sandy coves.
A young child came out of one of the toilets as the whole tap had fell off the sink luckily she was not scolded.
An industrial bin was wheeled away through the campsite by hand as they
had no tractor for moving it. You were expected to mop the showers after use by yourself as they probably didnt have the staff.
Very boring site no one was supposed to make any noise after 11pm overpriced and would not recommend this site to young people.
We stopped off here in May 2006 after having a rather eventful journey which included having to move from an unsuitable site in Glasgow but the scenery and the lovely friendly wardens at this site were just what the doctor ordered and very soon all cares and woes drifted off across the gorgeous loch.
This is a small, tranquil site, immaculately kept with top notch toilet blocks and good, well spaced pitches, some of which are right on the loch side. It only got a small shop, so stock up before you arrive though there is a little harbour village a few miles away with a little shop and a couple of pub restaurants.
It's hard to take your eyes off the view and is an incredibly soothing place to be. I would recommend this to anyone though it is right on the lochside so may not be ideal for someone with busy and curious toddler. Stock up on midgy repellent if going in the summer, they're everywhere!
