We stayed 1 night and was so impressed at the cleanliness & frinedliness of the staff we're returning today for 3 more nights. We arrived at 7pm but were welcomed. The shower block has several showers, toilets & even individual enclosures for washbasins. The site is well laid out. It is a short walk to the town which has a warm, charming character. We have no reservations in recommending this well kept site!

First trip in our van we decided to do an stay as a trial run. Glad we chose this site, staff were very helpful and friendly, our hook up cable was short but not a problem we were able to borrow one. Toilets and showers were very clean, nice quiet site considering the number of caravans. The site is situated within a lovely town with some really nice little shops The only downside for us was the price, 24 pounds for 1 night seems a little steep.

We have visisted this site numerous times over the past 7 years. Our 2 sons were just toddlers when we first used this site and they loved the freedom and space around. Now 7 years on they still love staying here - they love to walk to see the sheep and donkey in the nearby field which runs alongside the pathway to the garden centre - which has a lovely coffee shop by the way! The site is spotlessly clean, well maintained and very peaceful with hills all around. There is a well stocked Co-op just a short walk away, and the town centre, with it's interesting mix of shops, is a short walk in the other direction. The fact we've gone back to the site again and again says it all.

Clean site quite large being 180 units. Bit noisy in the summertime although not to extremes. Clean toilets and showers, all facilities available to all. Will be visiting again in the year maybe late November or early 2009 very good to find an all year round site nearby, very good overall great for walking and plenty to see and do.
