"Relax in the heart of County Durham"
Barnard Castle – known as “Barney” to the locals – is the nearest town to this lovely site. It is very peaceful and a good base for exploring Teesdale and the Yorkshire Dales as well as a haven for walkers and cyclists.
Tranquil and off-road site. Excellent campsite: plenty of hardstanding pitches; brilliant facilities including 'fast' and powerful showers which are very clean. Squirrels and birds aplenty to admire when picnicing. Easy walk (20 mins) through farmland and woods into town. Buses at end of lane request stop.
