"A valley delight on the Lancashire borders"

The parkland setting of the Edisford Riverside Picnic and Recreation area is home to our Clitheroe Club Site. South of the Forest of Bowland, the site is wonderfully peaceful and close enough to the coast to enjoy a day trip.

Excellent site for families. Very quiet in evenings, pitches are not too close to each other. Facilities are lovely and clean and the people are all friendly. Lovely location by the side of a river with small pitch and put near by and a swimming pool accross the road. Great pub with fayre 10 minute walk away overall 10/10

If your children have endless energy, they (and you) will love this site. It is next to a well-maintained stretch of river suitable for paddling, fishing and rubber dingies. If it’s too cold to be in the water, the numerous local walks and play area are the next best thing. Clitheroe itself is just
a couple of miles away and nearby Waddington village has some nice pubs. The site’s pitches are in a parkland setting. Electric hook-ups are available, and washrooms are provided. Dogs are welcome.
